While we know there’s so much more to discover in the Baltics, this tour is designed for those who are time poor but still want to get a real feel for these three incredible countries. That’s why we’ve focused on the capitals - each offering a unique snapshot of the nation’s culture, history, and charm.  You’ll travel between the cities comfortably on modern public buses with LuxExpress, making the journey smooth and enjoyable, with ample opportunity to relax and take in the changing landscapes. If you prefer not to travel by bus, we can include private transfers between the cities.

 

However, if you have more time or want a deeper dive into the local life, we can easily customise a longer tour that explores not only the capitals but also the charming regions of all three countries, or focus on one or two based on your specific interests.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Vilnius, the Capital of Lithuania

Upon arrival in Vilnius, you'll be greeted by a private driver who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. Take the evening to relax and acclimate to the charming Lithuanian capital.

 

Day 2: Vilnius City Walking Tour

After a hearty breakfast, join a private guided walking tour of Vilnius. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town, renowned for its Baroque architecture and cobblestone streets. Highlights include the majestic Vilnius Cathedral, the historic Gates of Dawn, and the picturesque St. Anne's Church. In the afternoon, optional activities can be arranged.

 

Day 3: Excursion to Trakai

Following breakfast, embark on a private excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania. Discover the well-preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully situated on an island in Lake Galvė. The castle's rich history and stunning surroundings make it a must-visit destination. 

 

Day 4: Travel to Riga, the Capital of Latvia

After breakfast, a private car will transfer you to the coach terminal for your Lux Express coach journey to Riga. Upon arrival, a private driver will take you to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the evening at leisure, perhaps exploring the vibrant nightlife or dining in one of Riga's renowned restaurants.

 

Day 5: Riga City Walking Tour

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a private guided walking tour of Riga. Stroll through the winding streets and cobbled alleys of Riga’s Old Town, uncovering its hidden past from 1201 to the present day. This tour offers a perfect introduction to Riga and its people. In the afternoon, optional activities  can be arranged.

Day 6: Art Nouveau District and Museum

After breakfast, delve into Riga's Art Nouveau heritage with a private guided tour of the Art Nouveau district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the intricate facades and ornate details of these architectural masterpieces. Visit the Art Nouveau Museum to gain deeper insights into this unique style. Day 7: Travel to Tallinn, the Capital of Estonia

If the organisers do not deem one of the activities safe, they reserve the right to change the order of the activities or the content of the program if necessary due to the weather. 

  • ALTERATIONS BY ORGANISER

Sometimes the organiser has to make changes, usually because of circumstances out of their control. If this happens, they reserve the right at any time to substitute accommodation or activities. If this means extra cost to you, we’ll let you know.

  • ​ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

You acknowledge that travel involves personal risks which may be greater than those present in your everyday life. This could be as a result of the adventurous nature of your trip or the visiting of destinations which present geographical risks and dangers.

  • 20% deposit  is required within 7 days after your holiday is confirmed

  • Balance due 65 days prior to travel

  • Cancellations:

    • More than 66 days prior to departure - loss of deposit

    • From 65 to 31 days prior to departure – loss of 50% of total cost

    • Less than 30 days prior to departure - loss of 100% of total cost

  • Please arrange a comprehensive travel insurance which covers all activities and any cancellation costs, should you not be able to travel
